No aeroporto | Como se virar

Passada a parte do guichê (clique aqui para visualizar o post), chegamos dentro do avião.

Quais serão as possíveis frases que você vai ouvir e o que talvez precisará falar?

Frases que você pode ouvir

Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome aboard.
(Senhoras e Senhores, sejam bem-vindos a bordo.)

Please, stow your carry-on luggage underneath the seat in front of you or overhead bin.

Please, take your seat and fasten your seat belt.

Excuse me, I’d like to have another seat.

Excuse me, coud I change seats? (Com licença, eu poderia trocar de lugar?)

Excuse me, but I believe that’s my seat.

Can you get me another blanket? (Você pode me conseguir um outro cobertor?)

Agora oberve abaixo possíveis diálogos em diferentes situações:

Momento em que a comida é servida

Flight Attendant: Good afternoon, sir. How are you doing today?
Passenger: Good afternoon! I’m fine, thank you.

Flight Attendant: Great! Would you like something to drink? We have water, orange juice, soda, and coffee.
Passenger: I’ll have an orange juice, please.

Flight Attendant: Of course! Here you go. Would you like something to eat as well? We’re serving a chicken sandwich or a vegetarian option.
Passenger: I’ll take the chicken sandwich, please.

Flight Attendant: Perfect. Here it is. If you need anything else, just let me know.
Passenger: Thank you very much.

Flight Attendant: You’re welcome. Have a great flight!

Passenger: Excuse me, miss. Is everything okay? The plane is shaking a lot.
Flight Attendant: Yes, sir. We’re experiencing a bit of turbulence, but there’s no reason to worry. Please make sure your seatbelt is fastened.

Passenger: Alright, thank you. I’m not a big fan of flying.
Flight Attendant: I understand. It should pass soon — the captain is adjusting our altitude to find smoother air.

(A few minutes later)

Passenger: One more thing — would it be possible to change seats? I’m sitting next to the restroom and it’s a bit uncomfortable.
Flight Attendant: Let me check if we have any available seats. Just a moment, please.

(After checking)

Flight Attendant: We have a window seat available a few rows ahead. Would you like to move there?
Passenger: That would be great, thank you so much.

Flight Attendant: You’re welcome. I’ll help you with your things once the seatbelt sign is off.
Passenger: I appreciate it. Thanks again for your help.

Flight Attendant: My pleasure, sir. Let me know if you need anything else.
