Será que você já ouviu falar da expressão “to act in bad faith?”
Pois bem, utilizamos essa expressão quando queremos dizer que alguém age de má fé, sem muita preocupação em ser honesto.
A expressão é bastante utilizada em contextos de negócios e contratos.
Observe as frases abaixo:
· The company was accused of acting in bad faith during the contract negotiations.
(A empresa foi acusada de agir de má-fé durante as negociações do contrato.)
· If you act in bad faith, the deal could be canceled immediately.
(Se você agir de má-fé, o acordo pode ser cancelado imediatamente.)
· He claimed the insurance company acted in bad faith by denying his legitimate claim.
(Ele afirmou que a seguradora agiu de má-fé ao negar sua reivindicação legítima.)
· It’s clear they acted in bad faith when they withheld important information.
(Está claro que eles agiram de má-fé ao ocultar informações importantes.)
· The court ruled that the landlord had acted in bad faith by trying to evict the tenant without cause.
(O tribunal decidiu que o proprietário agiu de má-fé ao tentar despejar o inquilino sem motivo.)
